Pilot

So.. It all started with my mother.... She was 19 years old when she immigrated from brazil to the USA in 1992. She immigrated to the USA because when living in brazil her financial situation wasn't all that good. Although, it was a big decision to leave everything and everyone behind, she did it! she came to the USA with a fake passport and about 100 dollars in her pocket. She had nothing here in the USA other than a dream... When she got here she went straight to Bridgeport CT. where she lived for about 4 years. Although she was young, she was very hard working. She came to the USA owing about 10,000 dollars at the time which was a whole lot of money and she had no time to spare to not work so she did so. she worked everyday at a little sowing shop. she would wake up every morning at about 5:00 am to walk about 40 mins to her job and she would only return at about 12:00 am everyday she had this routine. she paid her debt off in about 4 months, but even after paying off her debt she continued to work as though there was no tomorrow to be able to bring my father to the USA too. My father had already lived in the USA in 1990, however, he was young and had made a lot of money so when he returned to Brazil he spent it all. although my parents are 2nd cousins... (weird right??? lol) they loved each other so my mother paid to bring him to the USA too. when he got here they continued working a lot, my father worked with landscaping and my mother continued with the sowing shop, they did so to save money and create a good living here in the USA.

My parents..
And then I came!!! Even though my mom was pregnant she still worked non stop till the day she went into labor, January 13, 1995. I was born on January 14, 1995 at 10:30 am in Bridgeport CT.
Me!!!
After having me.... my parents continued working but a little less. When I was about 2 years old my parents moved to Danbury CT. where they bought their first restaurant... MINAS CARNES... they bought the restaurant to be able to give me a better life. they wanted to work less and have money to support me and my needs. Although, they were able to make more money they weren't able to have time for me. See my mom and dad worked in a restaurant all day everyday, and there wasn't anyone else who worked there with them it was just the two of them. Although everyday my mom would try to make me stay with the babysitter i would cry till my eyes would puff and she would feel badly and take me with her. i remember my days at the restaurant. my dad would get a big black garbage bag and lay it over the bottom part of the meat cutting table because it is where he would stay most of the time cutting meats. he would lay the garbage bag and then my mom would put a blanket over the bag and that would be my little play and napping area. When customers were there i would be the little sales girl. I would walk to their tables and bring them deserts and other things.. lol and i loved it...  of course i could stay at home where it was comfy, but i would rather stay with my parents. i didn't like to be apart from them because they where my everything! so that persisted for about 3 years up until................... (Ill write the rest next week.. see you then)
